Yirgalem General Hospital’s Mother and Child Clinic was completed in February 2017. The clinic provides medical care to pregnant women, premature babies, newborns, and children. Premature births and expectant mothers suffering from pregnancy-related pre-eclampsia have a high mortality rate in Ethiopia (hypertension). As a result, we’ve committed to provide all of the necessary medical equipment and furnishings to the mother-child clinic’s patient rooms, treatment rooms, and operating rooms, in collaboration with our partners.
The goal is to provide an operating table, intensive care beds, operating room furniture, operating room lamp, operating room cutlery, monitor, oxygen machine, anesthesia equipment, and a CT and ECG to the mother-child clinic.
